Dear Friends:
“TRAVELING – IT LEAVES YOU SPEECHLESS, THEN TURNS YOU INTO A STORYTELLER.”
Doesn’t that quote above sort of say it all? Traveling is so important to the mind and spirit of every one of us, and, unfortunately, that wonderful privilege that we have all had through our whole lives was stymied during the first half of this year. But, we truly believe that things will continue to improve for the rest of this year. Sometimes it is hard to believe that this is my “19TH WEEKLY UPDATE”; and that we have all been basically hunkered down in our homes for so many weeks and so many months. But, by observing very important and needed precautions, slowly, but surely, we are coming out of our long period of depressed living. Yes, of course, there are still challenges out there with the surges in some of the numbers at different parts of the United States. But, I prefer to stay more optimistic and hope that you do too.
I want to thank so many of you Group Leaders who have commented about my e-mail blasts, and it seems that the story from you has a common theme. So many of you are just happy that we are trying our very best to keep a positive spin on what is happening to all of us during this Pandemic as we continue to look forward with hope and with realistic goals. It is that hope and those realistic goals that has allowed us to already send several buses on the road with many more lined up and ready to go over the next few weeks. So far, the results from every Group that has traveled have come back extremely positive and enthusiastic. We know that many of you Group Leaders and your Groups have trips that are being planned and that we are preparing for and, hopefully, everyone remains excited to get on their voyages. We continue to be extremely cautious as we see these surges erupt throughout different parts of the United States. But, as I mentioned so many times, our main concern is the safety and the good health of you and all your Group Members and that is exactly how all the trips are planned and how they are all being delivered.
We have gotten great reports back from our travelers who have been on the chartered buses and they say that the Bus Companies and the Bus Drivers are continuing to take every conceivable precaution for keeping everyone safe and healthy while they are on the trips. As mentioned in previous e-mails to you, the Bus Companies have put new filtering systems in place as an additional way of treating the bus to make sure that the germs are being properly eradicated on a daily basis.
It has been exciting to see Disney World open, along with so many other large attractions throughout the United States. Yes, everyone is still concerned about being sure that they keep each and every Member of each and every Group away from any danger. But, basically the results have been the same and they have all been positive. So, we look forward to having you and your Group complete the trips that you have in place with us for the rest of this year, and we also look forward to hearing from you with your plans for travel for the Year 2021. You may have remembered that I mentioned several times that we are so excited about the Travel Year 2021 because it is our GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION at WHITE STAR TOURS, having started our company in 1971. We are so anxious to have you and your Group join us during that Celebration Year.
