OUR 21ST WEEKLY UPDATE, IMPORTANT UPDATES, AND AN ENTERTAINMENT OPPORTUNITY

OUR 21TH WEEKLY UPDATE REGARDING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, SOME ADDITIONAL UPDATES AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION, AND, ONCE AGAIN, SOME UPLIFTING AND UNIQUE ENTERTAINMENT

FRIDAY, JULY 31
FROM CHRIS KRARAS
PRESIDENT OF WHITE STAR TOURS

Dear Friends:

“LIFE IS SHORT AND THE WORLD IS WIDE, AND THE SOONER YOU START EXPLORING IT, THE BETTER!”

I feel the quote that I cited above sort of says it all, especially when it comes to your Groups and all of us here at White Star Tours. For many of the tens of thousands of Members of the Groups who travel with us throughout the United States and Canada, I am sure they are all feeling a tremendous emptiness of not being able to fulfill their desire to travel all of these last five months. But, the good news is that by finding ways to adjust to the “new normal”, many Groups are now starting to explore and enjoy the world of travel on a regular basis.

As I mentioned to you over the last couple weeks, all the Groups that have begun traveling with White Star already in the past month have come back extremely pleased and basically without any incidents at all. Just today, a Group from New Jersey that went to Maine completed their 4-day tour, and the Group Leader mentioned to us that this was one of the best tours they had ever taken. They mentioned that all the hotels, restaurants, and attractions went way beyond their normal treatment of the Group because they were so happy to see people traveling once again. We have included a picture of the Group in front of their bus for you to look at.

You will notice that this particular Group are all wearing their masks. In pictures that I have been sharing of prior Groups that traveled this month, we got some questions as to why many of the passengers were not wearing their masks during the trip. Please know that we send specific instructions with every Group that they should wear their masks that we supply them and also to follow all the other rules and regulations that we all know so well. But, it is up to the discretion of the Group Leader and the Group themselves if they decide to do otherwise. Most of the Groups are wearing their masks, but some of them made the decision to only wear them when they are in the company other than the Group that they are traveling with. But, again, that is up to the discretion of each and every Group Leader and Group.

We are delighted that over the next couple weeks we have a few Groups going to Lancaster, PA for three or four-day packages, and all of them will have the opportunity to enjoy the production of “Queen Esther” at the Sight & Sound Theater. We also have Groups scheduled to go to Cape Cod, West Virginia, Michigan, and other locations, and I will continue to give you updates.

As I always try to do, I will also give you updates regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic. I have been delighted over the last week to see the tremendous progress that is being made regarding the incredibly important vaccine. It appears that there is at least one and maybe two Pharmaceutical Companies that feel they have definitely found a vaccine that will be effective, and they are in the final stages of testing. Let’s all hope and pray that they can start giving the vaccine to the millions of people that we need to protect before the end of the year.

So, before I close this weekly update, as I have done almost every week, I am going to share with you a couple pieces of unique entertainment. The first one is from the spectacular Water Show in front of the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas. For those who never saw it, it is certainly a thing of beauty. In order to see it, please click here. The second piece that we offer comes to us from the Animal Kingdom at Disney World in Orlando, FL. I found it so cute, as it depicts young and newborn animals that are sure to touch your hearts. Click here for that one.

SO, THAT IS IT FOR THIS WEEK, AND WE HOPE THAT YOU CAN ENJOY ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND WE WISH YOU CONTINUED GOOD HEALTH AND HAPPINESS!

“TRAVEL IS NOT A REWARD FOR WORKING, IT IS EDUCATION FOR LIVING.”
