DEAR FRIENDS:
“LIVE WITH IT AND LIMIT IT!”
The motto that I quoted above appears to be the new mantra that is being used throughout the country and throughout the world when referencing the Coronavirus. As I read the reports from experts from around the world, it certainly appears that the trends are for a leveling out of Covid-19 positive tests and certainly a decline in the percentages of mortality. The many explanations that are coming from the experts say that we have all learned how to deal with all the precautions and how to exercise as many of the precautions as possible, such as wearing masks and washing our hands. The hope is that this will continue to allow us to live our lives a little more normally now, and until a satisfactory and full-proof vaccine has been officially distributed. As we mentioned before, several large pharmaceutical companies feel that they now have a suitable vaccine, and they are working towards final testing to be sure these vaccines are safe for all of us and have long-lasting effects. But, that might take a little more time yet, so that is why we are all adopting this motto of – “Live With It and Limit It!”
This past week has been very exciting for our Family and Staff here at White Star Tours for a couple of reasons. First of all, our 2021 WHITE STAR TOURS BOOKS have been put in the mail, and most of you should be receiving them within the next couple days, if you didn’t get them already. We are excited because so many of the Group Leaders have begun calling in with their reservations for next year and that energizes all our wonderful Staff here at White Star.
Secondly, we continue to send trips to many different locations across the United States and all the reports continue to come back very positive. Even more exciting news is that there are a number of Groups who have reported to us that they have enough people on their buses to complete so many of the Holiday Tours that are available to them in the last two months of this year. This really elevates the spirits of all of us here at White Star.
Speaking of our wonderful Family and Staff here at White Star Tours, I just want to signal them out for their continued devotion, passion, and hard work that they have exhibited during this pandemic. As you may know, so many of our Staff Members have been with us for over 30 and 35 years, and they have become like family to us. So, to all of our devoted and caring Members of the Staff at White Star, I extend a special and heartfelt thank you.
Now, as I do every week, I want to include a little entertainment for you to enjoy during your free time this weekend. The first one is a “virtual drone tour” of the famous Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. Longwood Gardens is included in several of our White Star packages, and I think you will enjoy this brief, but beautiful tour of this incredible facility by clicking here. The next piece of entertainment features the famous Cirque du Soleil and their performance in La Nouba, Varekai, and Quidam. This show is a little over an hour long and is full of incredible feats of acrobatics and other amazing tricks. And lastly, we want to make you aware of a wonderful opportunity to watch one of the incredible live productions of “Jonah” that was performed at Sight & Sound Theater in Lancaster, PA. It is going to be showing on your television on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) Channel at 8:00 PM this Friday and Saturday evenings. You can either check your local listings for the channel, or you can go to tbn.org, click the “Watch” tab, and choose “Channel Finder” from the drop-down menu. From there you can put in your zip code, click on your service provider, and it will tell you exactly what channel to tune into. So tune in, sit back, and enjoy this amazing production.
