OUR 25TH WEEKLY UPDATE REGARDING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, SOME GREAT NEW IDEAS FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON, AND SOME MORE FUN ENTERTAINMENT

DEAR FRIENDS:
“I HAVEN’T BEEN EVERYWHERE,
BUT IT IS ON MY LIST!”
Greetings to all, and I hope that you and all your family and friends have had a good week. I thought I would start this week’s message to you with the interesting quote that I cited above. You know, sometimes we don’t realize how very important it is for all your Group Members to travel and to see the world. Obviously, it is impossible for everyone to see everything that would be of interest in the world of travel. However, deep down, your Group Members know that they just want to get to experience as much as possible while they are able to be healthy enough to explore this beautiful country of ours. Sometimes the opportunities and the possibilities of travel can be overwhelming for you as a Group Leader and for your Group Members, as you try to select which of those thousands of travel destinations would be the most enjoyable. That sort of makes the job of being a Group Leader a bit daunting at times to make the correct picks. But, I am sure you, as a Group Leader, have found it very rewarding to select the packages that you feel would be best for your Groups, and I am sure you will agree that your Group Members always appreciate what you pick and appreciate that experience. Yes, they “Have Not Been Everywhere!” But, what you continue to be able to provide for them is cutting into their wish list. Please just realize, however, what you do for your Group Members means so much to them and is mostly very much appreciated.
So, this past week was another exciting week for us here at White Star Tours as more of our Groups have been able to experience some of our many packages that we have to offer. One Group from Roanoke, VA, is currently enjoying a trip to Pennsylvania.
I have included a picture of the Group, just to show you that your Group doesn’t have to be very large to still complete a tour during these trying times. We will always work with you to be sure that your Group – whatever size – gets to continue to check off destinations on their wish list. This Group told us they are having a wonderful time.
In giving you some entertainment to enjoy, as I do in every week’s UPDATE, this week I thought I would feature samples of some of the many Holiday Trips that are available for you yet this year and maybe for 2021. I am sure that many of you had trips planned to places that have decided to close for this year’s Holiday Season, such as New York City with the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, Washington, DC Holiday of Lights, and to other destinations such as in New England and North Carolina. But, there are still some wonderful opportunities that are definitely going to be open for our Groups this year, and I thought I would give you a sample of some of the highlights of those destinations, if you would still like to consider them. One of the most popular holiday trips is to Wheeling, WV for the very famous Festival of Lights. Another destination that is really popular is Pigeon Forge, TN deep in the Smoky Mountains. A highlight of that trip, in addition to all the Holiday Shows, is a visit to Christmastime in Dollywood. You might think it is a great idea to try this trip, and you may want to take it to your Group for something to look forward to this November or December.
These are just a couple ideas for you to ponder and also a couple short videos to entertain you and bring a smile to your face as we look forward to a glorious Holiday Season.
