Relive the early days of the United States as you visit Ferry Farm, where young George Washington spent his boyhood years, and Rising Sun Tavern, owned and operated by his brother Charles. Kenmore Plantation belonged to sister Betty and her patriot husband, Colonel Fielding Lewis. The Washington family matriarch, Mary, lived in the house purchased by George.
